The Instant Movie

SAT 3/30 7PM – The Instant Movie will be performing live improvised horror films inspired by classics such as Halloween, Friday the 13th and Scream. There is no escape from the funny when this murderous rampage begins. To get started, we’ll need an audience-suggested title. The rest is made up on the spot. Come out and get some killer laughs before they get you!

Ultimate Improv Challenge

SAT 3/30 9PM - The Ultimate Improv Challenge calls forth two teams to compete against each other in a series of hilarious games and scenes. Each scene is given a score by the audience. The team with the most points at the end of the night is crowned the UIC Champion! This show is designed to allow improvisers to take big risks and deliver an exciting, spontaneous performance every time.

IMPROV! The Musical

Show Dates TBD – IMPROV! The Musical will be bringing you shows inspired by classic tales of tragic love such as West Side Story, Romeo + Juliette and Moulin Rouge. These comical parodies feature two star-struck lovers separated by epic circumstances. Each performance we'll ask the audience for things that are opposites and use them to tear our lovers apart. Hilarity ensues.

Improv Classes

Next Session TBD - Unlock your creative abilities, become more outgoing, learn to entertain an audience or just have fun. Black Box Productions offers classes as a part of Relapse University, recently voted Creative Loafing’s 2011 “Best Place to Cut Your Teeth.” Our lineup of classes that are perfect for all walks of life. Students also receive free entry to 8 weekday and 4 weekend shows during their 8-week class!

DEVOLUTION: A Relapse Reunion

On Saturday, March 30th, Man will devolve back into Ape as all the teams of Relapse Comedy Theatre descend upon Act3 Productions for one night only! Featuring the best talent from Atlanta’s beloved improv theater, DEVOLUTION gets the band back together for all your favorite improvised shows, featuring headline performances from IMPROV! The Musical and Automatic Improv. DEVOLUTION kicks off AT 7 PM and goes all night long baby (not ALL night… but it’s a fair amount of time).

Cheap Beer, Wine, and Specialty Liquor Drinks all night, Hot Food Vendors, Free Parking, Free Raffles, One Amazing Night of Comedy!
